Just fyi... Saw these at Palo Alto Sports Authority. Mostly jerk baits in larger sizes. I don't normally use these, but for $0.97 I bought 5.

Damn, I over paid, .97ea for 8 buckets of 5-7" jerk shads at Palo Alto. They only had Nuclear Chicken and New Penny, Pearl would have been nice. Bink turned me on to these and have been fishing them above a big hammer or Carolina rigged if in the kelp for 2 seasons, they work well. Thanks again Ernest for the heads up and the GP adapter as well.

Thanks for the heads up Ernest and Eric.  I was wondering if the Sunnyvale store would have anything left.

Picked up 7" jerk shad, 3" shrimp, 3" grub, 7" belly strip (looks like swimbait body with long worm like tail), and 8" eels.  Rang up for $0.97/ea, then they gave me 50% off so they were $0.44/each.  Straight highway robbery if you ask me...but I can't complain.   :smt003

Anyone ever try using these berkley eels or shrimp?  If so, how did you rig them and what did you catch on them?

Thanks for the great tip. I went down and got five also. They had a couple varieties that were still full price. I have been reading up on bass fishing in the delta. I think these will come in very handy. As soon as I get my QRAS ready I will try them out. Thanks

Golfish (Ted) and Bink (Michael) uses them a lot for saltwater.

I bought different 5 jars of those at the Palo Alto store when they were 75% off.  I have played around with them quite a bit.  You cannot pre-rig them because the baits will dry up and turn hard. You need to put them on your jig head or hook just before fishing time.  They are stiffer and bit more difficult to rig compared to other soft plastic swim baits.  I still need to figure out how to best use them.  So far I still have a preference for the soft plastic ones.

But for that price I say load up and have fun with them.

A few months a ago the same Palo Alto store had big selection of Pro Cure scents for 75% off.  I loaded up on those. :smt001

Bummer.  Sorry to hear someone beat ya to the Gilroy store.

Maybe its someone on here and you can track him down.   :smt044

I actually almost left the sunnyvale store with nothing yesterday.  I got there and didn't realize they were located outside, so I went inside and 2 workers told me they just packed it up and sent it back somewhere.  Sounds like they were just lazy and didn't want to check like I asked.  So as I was leaving, I noticed the bin from Eric's pic in the corner outside and got lucky.
