Someone was talking about surfing practice and I've been thinking about that for awhile. Sunday is a good day to die then visit Joel in Pacifica. Linda Mar south end around 10am. I have a new Go Pro to set up and film the carnage from the beach. No rods, no tackle. Just a wetsuit,PFD,helmet and 2 paddles. Hopefully to crash and burn more than a few times. All welcome to play. I'm no expert but it's a great way to learn. Trial and error. :smt006 :smt003 Cowabunga dudes.

Haha. Big Sur Kayak Wipeout was pretty slick, too.

That's exactly how I envision my first surf landing! Same boat (Adventure) too. Yikes.

I'm going to try to keep the outrigger arms deployed and hang my body off the back aka bar while using one hand on the rudder until my feet touch/drag bottom. The boat will be very light without me in it, but I could still end up getting clothes-lined if the bow still digs in on a bigger wave.

I can picture it working at least with enough practice   :smt059

The new T-13 urban camo with the GD octopussy juice on it. From pussy to surf the T-13 can handle it all. :smt003 :smt006

Craig, let me see what I'm in for tomorrow, but that sounds f$#%$ great! We visited Joel today and I think he'd be proud of us if we did this prior to busting his balls Sunday. I've got an old skater helmet that would suit us fine.
