Very tempting. Does Berkeley have live bait yet?

Double check on the bait. J&p in the city has it but I don't think Berkeley does yet.

The action has been very slow inside the bays due to the huge minus tide series of the past week. As  the tides drop is size this coming weekend we expect to see much improved halibut scores being reported by both private and party boats. Live bait is available in both Berkeley and San Francisco and with high winds expected along the coast later this weekend the Bays will be "the place to be".
George Liu of Bay Tackle in El Cerrito reported continued slow halibut action in the central bay on Tuesday 5-28, but the action should improve with the smaller tides arriving by Thursday. He said, “There were a number of private boats drifting off of Southhampton Shoals to Brooks Island on Tuesday.

Also, the tide turn is at 7:00, so I'm gonna try to get my lazy ass out there a little earlier.

Hopefully my buddy in his PB will be able to pick me up some bait.
