Henessey youth Fishing Derby

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let you know there will be a youth fishing derby at Hennessy on Sunday June 2nd. I am not part of the committee or anything just taking my son and a friend and his kid up. Thought I would spread the word for those of you with little ones. Age 3-16. Supposedly they stock up the lake for the event but its a decent size lake so not sure how much it would help. Attached is a pic of the flyer. Not sure if we are going to shore fish or bring up the kayak yet. Hope to see some of you there.

Thanks Sailfish. Do not mind at all. Like I said not my tournament just saw the poster at Sweeneys in Napa and thought to take me kid. Figured some other guys might want to as well.

I have never had much luck in the lake but I figure being freshly stocked maybe some basic treble and powerbait will be best for the kids.

You guys have luck with crappy there?

Supposedly the bass bite has been hot on and off but I have not had much luck.
