Man, I don't know where you cats get your forecasts from year after year, but I'm lookin' at this:

Saturday: WNW wind around 10 kt. Sunny. Mixed swell...WNW 5 ft and SW 1 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

WX looks boaderline for the wkend.......wind needs to lay down friday. 6-8ft swell + 3-5 wind waves + 15-25knot winds = crappy water.

The wind is supposed to calm down this weekend, its a too early to rely on the forecast, lets check wait till Thursday.... :smt002

My back-up plan is Berkeley Buts (which conditions look ideal for, BTW), but it's going to take a wx forecast much worse than currently predicted to make me miss the opener.

i hear you and agree with you, but if it is truly windy along the coast, BERKELEY Shoreline will be super-windy!

Shitballs, I really wanted to hit the coast and camp with my bros...I already got the Friday off and have delicious foods and drinks ready..soo, paradise is looking real good to me now..its looking like a bayish/butt weekend..If its a northwest wind, then wouldn't Berkeley be blown out..the west bay sounds a lil more protected..
