where to go next weekend..Timber cove Rf opener or Shelter Cove?

Sacrificed memorial day weekend and staying local to go into work and to get next Friday off!.. ...I need more Salt! Never been to timber cove and Im sure it Will have a good turnout next weekend..Where to camp tho?...on the other hand, after missing gs7 Im itching to hit Shelter too!  Wat to do?... Would leave either Thursday night to do shelter or Friday morning to hit Timber. Knowing ocean and wx conditions i guess would help on this one!

I'm pretty sure there's no fish left at Shelter. Apparently some MASSIVE invasion of people fishing from plastic boats wiped it out.

Yeah TC not till Saturday. You can camp there if there's space or Ocean cove right up the road to the north= always tons of room and no reservations needed.

Hey Ricci, I'm planning on heading back to Shelter once the Salmon fishing picks up. Hopefully soon.

nothing would make me happier right now but things are a mess here, maybe another month before I can get out

It's actually cheaper to camp at OC and launch at TC than to camp at TC.
OC not as easy a launch but good fishing grounds in either direction.
