I'm a Bay Area expat, retired to Washington, now addicted to kayak fishing. Spending a week in Truckee visiting kids and grand kids. Would love to fish Donner Lake or some other nearby spots. Problem is I left all my yaks up north.

Anyone want to take me out between now and the 28th? Happy to reciprocate if you come to Portlandia.

Gots to keep me Kayak Wars production up this week.

My truck is down for a few days. Waiting on a dealer part. I have plenty of kayaks if you want to come down this way and haul a couple out somewhere for us to fish. Don't know what you are driving, but I have two Tarpon 160's and a Ride 135. All are rigged for trolling or whatever. I would  love to fish Donner. Maybe I can get someone to haul a couple of mine and their own up your way.

Due to my pesky job I can't go fishing with you but if you need a Yak,  I can hook you up with my OK Trident 13 with paddle and PFD.  I live in Reno and work at North Tahoe.  PM me if this can help you out.

RRob & Weiman, thanks for the offers. I'm renting a tandem SUP/Yak hybrid tonight thru Tuesday morning and will be trying Prosser Lake which is <1 mile from here. Love to have you join us Saturday-Monday. If you're ever in Portland/Vancouver area let me know, lots of great fisheries there.

Got on the water at Prosser around noon, fished till 4 and my grandson got the only fish. A 17" rainbow, color wasn't great but sure tasted great for dinner tonight. The DeuceCoupe is kind of a barge, lots of wind out there made it a challenge. Still a great time with my guy.

Gonna fly fish the Truckee below Stampede early then we'll yak Stampede afterward.
