"gelb" (pronounced with a hard "g" sound like "gate") is the German word for yellow, and my Navigator is yellow. I thought it would be a good way to identify with my heritage. Then I realized most folks pronounce it with a soft "g" sound like "jello"... hmm, might have to switch my handle or start using more hair products while kayaking.

Central Coast = Cen Coast = Sin Coast
Sometimes I consider changing it. But I've had the same name on so many different boards for so long. Maybe one day I'll change it. Unfortunately PK is already taken!  :smt010

Mine means I had a dune colored pa 12.maybe I should give it to the member who bought it
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Mdoka point is a reef in Lake Malawi which hosts some of my favorite Malawi Cichlids. I used to be a very active aquarist and cichlid breeder. Unfortunately I had to sell off all my tanks but plan to get back into the hobby one day.

Wondered what that meant for a while. Pretty cool

Purchased a O.K. Prowler-15, wanted to see what else was avail. Bought a Malibu Extream and sold Prowler ... Bought a Heritage Dart and than a O.K. Caper. Was offered a P.S. deal with Current Designs and paddled a Altura. Tried a few others along the way (too many to list) than got a chance to join the O.K. team ..... Always hard to forget your first love ;0)
After hopping from one yak to the other for quite a while a friend suggested "Yakhopper" and it sounded better than "FishKaai" so decided to stick with it.

Back in 05 my wife and son and I got ATVs. I thought up a handle to use on the ATV forums. We mostly rode the roads and trails so I thought trailboss, but my wife already had it. ;)  so I settled for traildad. Nothing extreme, just a dad out riding the trails. Even though we sold the quads, I kept the handle.
