I finally found a circle hook that works with a senko wacky style. I didn't have to look too hard,
a 1/0 Octopus circle did the trick. I just push it in until the barb disappears. I also get more
use out of the senkos because I just rehook them in another spot as the original hole wears out.
You don't have to hook them in the exact center of the worm either, they wiggled great
regardless. I'm kissing throathooks goodbye!

I forgot to mention that being weedless was important, and they were! You can see the stuff I was therowing them into. I caught the fish pictured out of the tules pictured. I did need to quit trying to set the hook, but rather just tighten up on them. I lost several before changing my style.

Very cool Juan!  I always wondered about using circle hooks with senkos but never had the guts to try it.  Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing and I'm glad you found out an easy way without having to buy weedless hooks.

That seems pretty awesome Juan! Question though, do you just let them munch since it's a circle or do you still set the hook?

Thank you for sharing. I'm a big circle hook user and will try next time.

I think you missed his second post: " I did need to quit trying to set the hook, but rather just tighten up on them. I lost several before changing my style."  :smt003
