Maybe good for smaller yaks and calm conditions only but it's a great invention.

Seems that design doesn't allow the use of the upper body. It relies on arm movement only, which is not ideal for various reasons. What was the point of this invention?

I think the product was geared to a certain crowd and not for all.

There are a lot of handicapped paddlers that still want to get OTW.
This is one more thing to make it possible for some achieve this goal.
I see it alleviates the weight of holding the paddle. This could be a huge benefit for some.
