5/18-19 Who's not going to GS7??????

My wife and kid are heading out of town this weekend and I'm stuck here in the valley wishing I was able to make GS7.  I don't want to sit around and read GS7 posts all weekend.  Not that I don't enjoy them.     So it looks like it's going to be a weekend fishing close to home.

Any North Valley boys or girls hanging around itchin to get out too.  I'm open to suggestions but was thinking of hitting up the Oroville Diversion pool to try for a record Coho, Paradise Lake for trout or even making a run up to Bucks Lake.  If all else fails there is always bass fishing.

Ya, I'm homin it to..... Graduation and Skeet Reese fish derby for the kids sat. Sunday gonna sleep all day so... No fish for me Lots of other fun though. 

I was trying to get there but it will not happen.  I will be making the Islander trip in a few weeks and hopefully that will make up for missing this epic event.  Just my opinion but I think the board will be dead until Monday.  It is even slow now!  Everyone that generally posts is off having a good time at GS7.  Have fun up there this weekend.  I will be chasing babies and maybe going to a children's museum.

im in the same boat the boards will be slow. I think I will start pre fishing melones on Saturday if anyone wants to join me. Gotta get it early it will be a mess with the fair in town.

I have little league games all weekend Wish I could be there, but your kids are only young once

We just got home after 3 weeks in New Zealand and just couldn't even consider pulling it together enough to get out to GS7 by this weekend. 

I am going on a motorcycle ride on Saturday though.  Gonna see all the spring flowers and budding trees up in the hills. 

Sunday I'll be at Lake Natoma with the kayak.  My son is a cameraman for PAC12 Network  and they are shooting the college rowing race there Sunday.

He wanted me to put him on the water with the kayak while he operates his camera.  My PA should be good for that. 

Im "stuck" in Tahoe....master 100 ton studying but I might get out for a minute close by

I too am a part of the ones left behind. I'm the new guy and didn't know enough guys to really feel comfortable enough to ask.  So I made plans to work on Sat. And Sunday I'm planning on fishing Monterey unless the conditions look bad   Wish I could make it up that way. I've always wanted to fish up in the Paradise area. Good luck to all you left behinders.
