Saw this on another site and thought that we have a lot of story tellers here that could do a great job creating a masterpiece.

Add a few lines to continue the story below ... let's see what sort of tale we can spin

"The sun had just started to rise at the start of the HMB fishing derby, as over 100 kayak anglers are getting ready to launch.  A speedo wearing Mooch is tutoring some newbies on the finer points of fishing HMB waters.  As the official launch time nears, a hearty "Welcome!" is heard from an approaching person.  It's none other than ..."

... the big grey and white man they call the local "landlord"........

He was adorned with electrical gadgets galore... gps, helmet-mounted radar, digital camera, "color-c-lector" (remember those?), Aqua-vision underwater camera, and yes, a new-fangled fishfinder was even seen mounted proudly on the bow of his blue kayak.  As quick as St. Nick on Christmas Eve, the Blue Kayak sighting was over as he quickly pushed through the surf and into the horizon, leaving the jaw-dropped spectators stunned with only a scattered trail of  AA batteries that had spilled from his wetsuit remaining on the beach as evidence of his presence.  Needless to say, at this point, people hardly took notice of Mooch's speedo...

With bluekayak having come out of the closet, everyone is shaking their heads in disbelief.  But that feeling is soon over and everyone else starts launching.   jmairey is paddling out with the lead group and no sooner does he round the end of the breakwater when all of a sudden ...

.....Mavericks is breaking and jmairey quickly stows all of his fishing gear below deck and amazingly pulls his surfboad out of his hatch. He drops an anchor off his yak and jumps onto his surf board...already waxed and ready to go....with his fishing license still attached to his goofy looking fishing hat. As he paddles away from the kayak fishing fleet, he turns around and says........

"There is a 56.437% chance of seeing a GWS at this famous spot, but I'm comfortable with the 17% +/- 3.2 angstroms of attack probablity.  Recent missives published from the Tongan region indicate that most men of my size will survive an exploratory predation incident.......So I'm going for it!!!!"

He turns around to catch a sixteen-foot wave, when suddenly....

He notices that the swell has parted the anchor rode on his distant kayak is drifting away in the NW wind.

As his kayak starts to drift away, a large dorsal fin appears behind it.  A ginormous whitey breaches on the kayak and starts chewing on it.  This continues on with the shark shredding the kayak and not letting go.  Everyone stares in disbelief as they thought for sure the shark  would taste the plastic and spit it out.  It turns out that the main ingredient used in the expandable foam that jmairey used was fish oil.  The shark continues to feed on the kayak until there is nothing left but a chum slick of expando-foam.  The chum slick attacks a huge school of lingcod, which the other kayakers notice.  The crowd approaches the feeding frenzy and drops their lines in.  Jelly is the first to hookup.  His rod goes bendo and ...

Jelly's rod goes bendo.....and to everyone's surprise....it's a wayward - 15 pound - Albacore  In disbelief, Brian(bsteves) paddles right next to Jelly's kayak to confirm the catch....

Brian Id's Jelly's fish and it is defiantly is a longfin. The slick is bringing in all kinds of fish,birds,and seals. We all are amazed at the spectacle then of course dead in the middle we see Mooch snapping pictures like crazy. What he doesn't see is that his rod is doing a major bendo straining the rod holder, we are all screaming at him to grab his rod. When he finally realizes what going on it takes all his strength to get it out of the holder, the fish is screaming out line, then it turns starts towards the surface and it comes flying out of the water. It's the biggest Salmon any of us has ever seen, Mooch is in heaven the fish is all over the place and Mooch is having the time of his life. Next the fish starts to pull him towards a small patch of fog, and who comes paddling out of the fog in a tandem wearing a tiny string bikini and she looks hot  Gabrielle Reese she paddles over to Mooch and says I want you now drop that rod and let's blow this joint. Mooch is looking at his pole with one eye and her with the other he knows he has to make us his mind so he

bails out of his new prowler and jumps in the tandem with gabrielle.  Word gets out and soon hook1 finds out about Mooch bailing on the derby.  They call him on his cell to tell him he is no longer sponsored.   By the time they get to the beach, Mooch has decided to give up fishing and only wants....

gabrielle. Just then a c-130 does a cargo drop of spam and mooch starts an uncontrollable drool. he starts going into convulsions,looks around but his kayak has departed on the outgoing tide. Luckily mooch is slobbering enough to make a drool channel in which Laird Hamilton shows up looking for his wife. He shows up with a jet ski with a tow-in board,mooch trades his floral print speedos for the tow in board and a ride to chase down the spam. So off they go,unfortunatley for mooch a huge north swell has materialized out of nowhere and laird bails just as a naked mooch gets dropped into monster set......

not knowing how to swim, he flails around  sending off electro fear impulses through the water.  Jmairey yells to mooch to relax, and out of the chaos comes chucke on his super fast hobie ride.  He aims for Joel but unfortunately the hull design is no match for mavericks fury and he gets bucked 30' from mooch, fearing they are lost in the surf, they both pray for rescue when all of a sudden....
