Been wanted to mount my GoPro on an extension pole after seeing Rock Hopper and Tote's design (thanks for the inspiration)...
http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=38278

I have a folding camera mount that I strapped on to the end of the extension pole, but it looks like a Mickey Mouse job. I want to make it look legit. Finally got some time to make myself a silicone mold and do it right.

The mount is made of West System epoxy. I added graphite powder to give it the black color. I'll let the pictures do the talking...

1) The two part silicone mold I made.

2) The prototype on the left. Finished mount on the right. I put a bolt through the ball to give it more strength. (Notice that the RAM imprint was perfectly duplicated from the mold  :smt003 )

3) Attached to the GoPro/RAM mount.

4) Attached to the extension pole ($12 from Walmart).

5) Extented

6) It turns out the threading fits most generic extension poles.

Thanks for looking. Hope y'all like it.

Its real nice Ernest! I don't know if Ram would like it all that much with the name on it.

It's a non-issue after the rubber coating is applied  :smt003

Ernest,

I think that is one of the baddest fabs I've seen on NCKA.
Better get in production mode because as soon as Ram gets wind of this you know they will jump all over it.
Great idea bro.
