Alright, I am looking forward to my first adventure on the SJ but i need a lot of help.  I know of some places to get in/out but i understand there are some hoops that i may have to jump through.  I dont mind paying a couple bucks somewhere to get out or in, but honestly i like cheap and dont really want to deal with impounds or parking tickets.
Anyone with some experience on the SJ can you please give a couple pointers and also maybe some time frames on how long it takes from A to B.
I would love forsome one to join me and i am thinking about an early trip tomorrow.

That was a lot of fun. I turned it over once just because I tried to push through some current. It was a good lesson. I didn't see that many fish in the shallows, but not ever fishing there before I was happy just to catch a couple. It looks like an unbelievable fishery so much cover and so many slow moving area. I guess the more I go the more I will know.  I will keep everyone updated on my adventures on the San Joaquin.
