Thanks to Craig (Ravensblack) for introducing me to Paul Lebowitz, the editor of the new magazine on the block called KAYAK FISH.  He did a small write up of my 31 lb. Salmon I caught at last year's Albion Open.
The magazine is full of color photos on quality paper, and it has great articles about big fish, how to's, and reviews.
I had a hard time finding it though.  I searched Barnes & Noble, Fry's, and other stores without success.  While Salmon fishing out of Santa Cruz last week I checked the Kayak Connection and they just got some in.  I spoke with the new owner Dave, and we both looked for the write up.  He found it and he wanted me to have a complimentary copy.  Thanks Dave.  FYI: they now carry Hobie Kayaks and accessories.
You can get it on-line at:  https://www.circsource.com/store/storeBackIssDescription.html?backIssueId=4428

That was pretty cool Paul was looking for some real  fishing guys. Not all extravagant overseas trips that cost a fortune. Or some mothershipped superstar. Just a regular guy like Steve who happened to catch a king of a lifetime on his PA. Congrats Steve you deserve your moment of fame. Paul will be at Albion this year with photographers. More on that later. We have some big surprises in store this year.

Dave is a great guy!  Bought my AI from him at their S.C Harbor location.  They also have a shop in Moss Landing, though they don't stock may access at the Moss Landing location.
