WTB- Kayak cart

Looking for a stable kayak cart if anyone has a extra one and would like to pass it on or make a few $ let me know. Or if anyone in the Sacramento area wouldn't mind assisting me while I build one that would be awesome also!

......and here it is. Just save yourself the time and money and buy a set of Wheeleze. Buy the large sand tires. They seem expensive, but use them once and you will understand. Soooo many people have tried making their own just to eventually break down and buy the real deal.

But, just in case you want to try your own,

(I did several times then broke down and got the Wheeleze and am now a believer)

But like I said if you want to try on your own, the fat wheels in this post are still available, even give them to you for free if you'll pay shipping.

Read the add tho, as fat as they are they still don't work like the wheeleze wheels.

Got mine a week ago after listening to the group have yet to get down to the beach . have taken it around the property down steps and it glides smoothly over all terrain , glad I listened

The beach is far for me I'm in Sacramento so offloading wheels and tires is what I'm after or dose this matter?

If you hit a pebble with small hard wheels anywhere but on a hard launch ramp or asphalt or concrete it very well might tip you over. Even uneven ramps or roads like the Port Ramp can cause problems.

I'm not an American River guy, so I don't know about that specifically. But I'd imagine, yes it is. As far as storing it goes, the wheels come off and all the parts can be stored inside the front hatch of a lot yaks. Some people also bungee it (unassembled) to the rear deck. I just walk mine back to my truck where I lock it in my toolbox.

Mine ends up in my car every time. Just see no need to carry it.

I used a smaller, "standard" wheeleze cart for years. Still have one for when the situation doesn't need the big beach wheels. The standard cart might be the ticket for you if you don't deal with sand much.
