Hey everyone, my name is Jason, username is Panthalassa. I've lived in Santa Cruz for a few years and I love it here. I'm turning 30 this summer, I'm a student and a Veteran. I've been off and on kayak fishing for years but I'm new to taking it seriously. I jumped in head first and bought a Trident Ultra 4.7 after meeting Allen at the tackle/bait shop in the harbor a couple of weeks ago. I went out fishing today with Allen on his guided trip with Kayak Connection too. I had a great time fishing the coast and talking with him this morning. I'm going to take what I learned and nail more and more fish as the season gets better. I'd love to go fishing with anyone with more experience then me in hopes of learning new and better techniques and hot spots and also for the camaraderie of catching lots of fish!

Welcome aboard, and thanks for serving this great country!!! If you went with Allen, you may have just shaved off years of trial and error. Keep an eye on the "Hook Up" section. You won't be disappointed with this family of NCKA'ers!!!
