I am looking at the weather report for Monterey right now, and I am wishing I was OTW with those NCKA's lucky enough to be out there and not working.  To those fishing SWS today-Please save me a big ling OK?

Thanks

Maybe they all slipped by earlier & made it to the outside.  Conditions don't look that bad there today.  Little swell on the inside but looks smooth still.

Somebody said they caught a 40" ling.  They were going to measure and release it.  I think the guys on the outside did good.  I stayed inside, boated a 25" ling, retrieved the octopus from its stomach for bait and then fumbled him while putting him in the bag :(.  This event might show on the GoPro video later.

DFG was out.  I paddled over so they could check my license.

Lots of good ling like take downs but only got the one to stick.

Pretty nice day, conditions were ok but not great.

Heading to work fish less now.

I picked up my reels yesterday, they were getting an overhaul and upgraded carbon drags. Sat in my recliner all evening and held my rod pretty much like a lab at the door on opening day of duck season. I hope they are getting a lot of great action out there today!
Is it Sat morning yet?!

HAHAHA I suggest the what I learned when I was very young. Just say no and suggest an alternative. Uh no honey. You know how I love to cook. This is the best way to bring you the freshest and healthiest dinners home.  :smt002
