If we want to camp on the shoreline, and with the water levels so funky right now .... anyone want to consider changing it up to Lake Sonoma?  It is "boat in" only campsites and I personally think it is MUCH better for camping (& fishing).

   Thoughts anyone??????

It's been WAY too long since I have camped there but I LOVE that lake!  Great fishing too!  I have only camped at 1 spot but I found it to the be best; Old Sawmill (if you want solitude; reserve ALL 5 camping spots).  Only a couple miles from the public launch, in a 5mph zone, only 1 set of camp sites past it & those are RARELY ever taken & up at the end of the creek has wild berries growing to eat/cook with!  GREAT fishing up that arm for catfish & panfish by the boat load!  Good shade & the camping area is fairly flat.  We ALWAYS reserved all 5 spots (1-5) & had the entire point to ourselves for the 1-2 week camping trips.

Good times!
