As many have heard, and others experienced, LDP holds a bit of a double edged sword with me.  Looking to break its bad mojo for a group hookup.  Want to see if others are interested?  Overnight or two night camp/sail/fish???  No date set, anyone interested?  Toying with the thought of an overnight on the AI.  Oh the punishment....

Live 30 minutes from it and never fished it :smt017

I'd be interested but I can only Yak fish on weekdays if I can get away from work for a few hours. Weekends I run daddy daycare but that's what the PB is for
And you could hear me screaming a mile away as I was headed out for the door....

I'm interested in doing the CampFishSail at LDP  :smt002  On that last outting where my pedal broke I was planning on scouting areas to camp over by Jenkins hill.  Since the water level is so low, not sure if there is any flat ground to camp on by the water.

When I was there last year for Fathers Day weekend, the rattle snakes were a bit of a problem along the shoreline.  I was re-thinking it as a Mothership campout with the pontoon boat but I REALLY want to fish/sail this lake with the kayak since that will mean being able to leave the family at home. :smt002

Let's do this!!!!

Snakes aside, it sounds pretty fun.  I've spent a bit of time thinking about what gear I'd bring to survive a night or two out there.  Hoping that I could use a hammock instead of a tent, but might mean climbing up a hill to do so.  No ground fires allowed, so have to cook by Jetboil or just bring lots of pre-made stuff.
