Tuesday
7/11 Down NW 5-10 early  No swell of interest  2 ft

The above forecast is for tuesday of this week.  In my experience if there is no swell of interest it is lake linda mar.

The reason I posted the above forecast is that Chuck, Bill, Joel, chris, JTF and others practiced launches and landing today.  We launched and then we landed.  Terrible conditions.  I think Tuesday will bring salmon to the pacifica/ linda mar area.  Good luck to those who can enjoy the good water.

JTF did cowboy up and paddle to Rockaway and farther.  I was gone before he came in so hopefully he got something to show for his efforts.

aw man, tuesday was the after school salmon session at linda mar, crap!

jason, didn't get no love on the outside, the swells were huge!!!!! but, they were smooth, the wind put me very close to the pier fast, I forgot my radio and tried to see if chuck had stayed out but when I didn't get any answers on my cell phone I paddled back.

the guys all came down to the beach to see if I would wipe out!  sorry to disappoint. :smt005  jtf..

The member (Joe, John?) who spilled on Saturday afternoon along the rocks can private message Joel (Mooch) for their spinning rod/reel. That is the only surviving gear, sorry to report even with 2ft minus tide. :smt013
There is no hope of finding our lost VHF radios. :smt011

I do have the lost and found rod and reel - whoever owns it can PM me. I cleaned it as much as I could but both rod and reel may need a pro to fix it.

Here are some surfing pics by our NCKA bros.....

nope, not me. I was swimming and kayaking in silver lake this last weekend. I did get a few minutes
to troll, but it was full moon and clear, I didn't see a whole lot of catching going on.

That is not the first surfer with a paddle I have seen tho, there is a guy on the eastside santa cruz
I see sometimes, I wonder if it was the same dude, or there are two of them?

Mooch, you need to develop your santa cruz fishing skills. If you keep going to where the fishing is
easy, how will you develop those already great fishing skills to bluekayak levels? Plus, I think you
could use a bikini or two in your life.

Brother, I HAVE put my time in SC and all I catch are kingfish and smelt  :smt011 There is definitly NO LOVE for me at SC no matter how hard I fish it. Although I did hook up with a BIG salmon on a rented skiff - before my kayak fishing days - but I'd rather not talk about it  :smt011 Still seeking therapy for that incident  :smt013

Blue kayak is in a leauge of his own - I'm not playing there - ever. I try not to kayak fish by myself - for two reasons: 1) safety issues 2) I'm a social kayak fisherman  :smt002

I would like to have a "bikini" in my life - with no strings attached  :smt002
