Did mine a few months back on an 09 adventure.  I videotaped the "taking off" of the rudder and cables in case i needed to review it when installing the new one and re-tying the cables.

I broke the rudder assembly at Albion 2012 while launching- didn't see that my rudder was caught on a wooden post at the launch and i kept pulling my yak ontothe water.

Peace & blessings!

Just did mine last week cuz I dropped my kayak from its pulleys in my garage. Quite simple to do just remember which way the handles go to lift it and rig the cables the proper way inside the pulley. The turn one is really simple to do. I just centered the rudder and handle and tightened the cables till the max travel worked in both directions. Same with the up down cables.

I did it without a diagram which scared the heck out of me but when I was done it all worked even better than before.
