Texas HOW Conference

Howdy All,

A little bitter sweet with Mooch news, but I guess a diversion can't hurt...

Not sure where I should put this, but being this is pic heavy with Redfish and different lands and being the details are laborious as far as the details in paperwork and procedures we poured through, we'll keep it to the sights and fish porn...

I will say it was very enlightening to talk with the other Coordinators from the south eastern states as to how they have progressed and what they are doing.  Many great things happening with HOW Nationally and I can say with great pride in what we do;

HOW National is very pleased with the work we have have done and that is a Badge you can all wear with pride as it would not have happened without you..

I must say, the wounded troops accessorize a bit differently in Texas when Kayakfishing.... 

Back to the shop for more details with Jim D. laying down the Law ...

Took the 3rd outing to finally get a Redfish, kinda weird looking for " Skinny Water..."  marsh is on the average about a foot deep, and your looking for 4" of water and " Finning..."  presentation and stalking technique is everything ...  was not uncommon to " scoot " the kayak along with mud pushing through the scuppers and it's a Rats maze out there, but on the third day it was just a beautiful morning and Reds came my way...

Great Bunch of people and Awesome time hanging with people from all over the country. Pretty fun just hanging around chatting it up and sampling the local delicacies ...

Handguns OTW with rifles? Looks like fun!

Yeah even my Hobbie Quest used to bottom out before other brands would when I went down the rivers in Texas.   can understand carrying a peice down in Gator/Cayman/Snake country.  It might be a useful item to have.

Don thanks for representing!  Glad to see you scored some redfish and have master pinching tails nad sucking heads!  It is an important life skill!

Accessories Texas style, skinny (?) water, finning, 'dads, and redfish sound like a fun time hanging with the Troops from Texas.

Hey those guys look familiar!!!! I fished with a few of them at the last HOW event here in Texas. Glad you had a fun time Don. You all were to far south for me to join you or I would have.

Getting a new house furinshed and all the windows done is taking a lot of my time but I will be out next weekend at Burger lake trying to get a double digit bass. 

That would have been kool to see ya there, but understand it's Big Sate...

catch up with soon I hope and ya always have a hobie or 2 at your disposal when ya come to visit....
