Hi Folks - Information on the seminar this Thursday is posted below.  SF Bay halibut reports are picking-up and it won't be long for the ocean bite.  Hope to see some Sac area folks come out and learn a few tips for chasing butts and share a few halibut fishing stories.  Post up if you will attend so we can get an idea of interest and how many folks might attend.

Halibut Fishing in San Francisco Bay and along the Pacific Coast – April 18

April is usually the start of halibut fishing in SF Bay, and along the Pacific Coast of central and northern California. Halibut are a premier gamefish and table fare.  Seminar to cover basic methods of drifting, jigging, and trolling gear and methods for targeting halibut, including kayak rigging, weather and tide factors, and safety considerations. Come on out and learn about this exciting kayak fishing opportunity and meet other local kayak anglers.

I wish one of the kayak shops (or tackle shops) in the Monterey Bay area offered seminars like this! Someone needs to hookup the webcam so we can watch remotely or setup a Google hangout. I know it's gonna be a fun & informative session--wish I could be there too.
