look what i got for my B DAY

well I turned 38 on the July 4 that sucked but my girlfriend bought me a new reel the DAIWA SG27LCA line counter
cant Waite to take this baby salmon fishing no more counting out pulls I plan to run braided line 25 or 30 not sure yet
we will see what happens 

and the only catch is I have to go with her to some art shows but I think it is worth it

I don't know how many art shows all I do know is that when she asks me I will have to go
one of the condition's is it can be short notice I just hope it's not on a fishing day

Heh-heh, I've got one in November you can go to. I'll have fish & kayak fishing as a theme. It will be a win-win!
Also, I love my Daiwa reels. Pricey but tough, and they have really held up well considering i was basically a kid when I got them. I've had a couple for over 20 years, and the oldest one brought in 2 WSB for me this year. Drags are smooth & never failed me.

I like the Daiwa's too.  I have the 17 size for mooching and I just picked up a 27 at the Outdoor Pro Shop for $69.99 on sale (only one left and they wanted to move it I guess). 

I was going to pick up another Shimano TR100 but for $10 more, the Sealine is a far better reel.
