finally had a few hours to get out and fish and enjoy some spectacular wx after a week of chores and honey-do's, so headed up to yorty creek to hit some of my favorite spring spots only to find that my favorite structure was about 10ft above the water line :smt044, knew the lake was down this year but havent been to yorty to really see how far, but still was able to boat a limit of 14-15in LMB. didnt see any big females and the males that were in close were real skittish. all fish were caught on a weightless baby brush hog in watermelon seed color, was a great afternoon in the sun without any immersion gear for the first time this year which means sunburned legs and feet :smt044, hope the lake turns on soon, cameron

At least the water finally cleared.  Another week of warm weather and the lake is gonna blow up.  The water level is a bummer though.  Mendo is low too.

Way to get out on the nice water, Cam.  Yakking without immersion gear is a pleasure.   :smt001
