Have 2011 pro angler 14 that I am starting to outfit. Mainly plan on using for ocean fishing and crabbing and such. I have been researching depth finders as well as other electronics. Anyone have any picture of where to mount and how to mount,  I am not really wanting to drill holes into my boat

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Lowrance will be doing a hands-on demo in Sacramento on Saturday the 20th with various Lowrance and Simrad units.  More details to follow.  This may give you a chance to play with the units and meet the local Pro Staff guys.

I used 4 Scotty clamp on rod mounts on the side rails on my 14' PA.  One of the clamp on mounts has a Scotty FF mount and then a Mad Frog Liberator with transducer arm.  I have a Humminbird 788 combo FF/GPS mounted to the Liberator.  I have the excess wires coiled under the Liberator mount and there is a 10 amp 12 volt battery in a Walmart waterproof case next to the seat.  No holes drilled anywhere and rods and FF are right next to the seat, everything is easy to see and easy to reach.
Had to shim the Scotty clamp on mounts with 1/8" rubber shims (used a piece of bicycle tube) so the mount would tighten otherwise a super easy way to mount everything.
My PA is the older style with the side rails right next to the seat, the above method will probably not work on the newer PA's with the new style seat.
I did not want anything mounted forward of the seat as it makes it harder to get in and out of the PA.
