I fished Jenkinson Lake yesterday,first time I fished my new kayak. Awesome day,not because I fished a new kayak and not because the weather was great,it was kinda cold and rained a bit,and not because I landed half  a dozzen little stocker rainbow,but because it was my first time yak fishin since november.

Also I cought all on rooster tail rainbow painted and a panther martin brookie painted.

I saw you by the dock as Becky and I were driving by.
We stopped at the Knot Hole for a burger and beer.
I was going to yell out the window 'NCKA!!!' but it was too late bythe time I saw you.

I started at the other end,the other boat launch and worked that way. By the time I reached the docks by the entrance it was time to quit but there was a bunch of people fishin from shore and doin well so I paddled from dock to dam and back and "The Maddness" of my first day back on a yak made it hard to quit. Just One More!

Congrats on your new kayak. Looks like the trout fully cooperated.

I've only been on that lake once with my kayak but that is one pretty place to fish.
