I got tired of having the heavy battery up high on the ram mount.
Plus the red waterproof box was always hitting my leg when peddling.

I like the FF completley removable. so I had to figure out a way to wrap up the transducer wire.
So I came up with a box bettween the FF mount and the ram mount.

I copied Riders set up with the battery in the box velcro'ed in the front hatch.  Then when pulled all that's in the yak is a short piece of connector wire and the ball mount.

Fishbucket,
I like your set up. I'm new to the forum and am looking to add a Fishfinder to my yak. I was wondering where you got the suction cup transducer mount and how well does it stay attached.
Thanks,
Cranky

I closed down a site that had a bunch of engineers/geeks  (handheld Video recorders) and found a couple in the stuff they left to clean up.

They look like GPS windsheild mounts.  I modified that one to accept the aluminum bar.
It actually works out perfectly and holds on tight. I used it on a OK T-15 and the Outback. It's stopped me when it hit a log one time. any flat smooth surface and it holds.
I'll try and take a good look at it and see if i can identify the Manu. for you.

Super clean DIY no drill set up. Very nicely done.

The first set-up was 'no drill' ..save for the mount.

This time I have a short wire in a grommet left when I pull the FF and Batterybox.

Thanks for the info. I have not seen anything like it before and thought it might be custom. But just in case I could pick it up somewhere without finding all the parts, I had to ask.
