Anyone else running it?

Great little race that starts in front of the Boardwalk, goes down WestCliff, past Natural Bridges out onto the Wilder Ranch bluffs and back to finish on the sand at Cowell's Beach.

If you're in town any shouts of encouragement or cold post-race beverages appreciated.  :smt003

I'll be the big sweaty guy in the purple Team in Training tank top.

 :smt005

Starts at 8am so should be done by 10-1030ish.

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim

Had a great time running the half marathon this morning!

Beautiful day, big waves pounding against west cliff shooting spray up and over the runners, my body felt good, I crushed the hills out by Wilder, great "scenery"  :smt002 and I finished strong!!  :smt004

Started mellow behind the 2:35 pacer, passed her and then the 2:30 pacer before the wilder bluffs, then the 2:20 pacer with about 2 miles to go, and then picked up the pace and ran in strong and finished in 2:15.

Not my fastest half, but had a killer time and was happy with how I did given my lack of training and the back problems I have been having recently.

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim
