You better be carful about exceeding the weight limit of your yak with that monster  that river holds some hogs for sure.

It really is a shame that people want to ruin this great fishery.
The water in this river was diverted to supply water for the Ag industry and the lower stretches have been dry for 50+ years. Now they want to kill the river again to replace it with a cold water system to "TRY" to reintroduce Salmon into the system.

I didn't even know they made bass that big!!

The plan to reintroduce salmon is doomed to fail, there is just no way to get enough water flows for them to thrive. The biggest thing I want for the river is just more public access.

Wow that's a toad! She looks to be over 12.
Best part is that she was a jig fish. No giant swimbaits or a-rigs needed!

Couldn't agree more and they also catch numbers of fish year around if you know how to work them.
