10% chance of rain with 3-5 mile winds.
First time in salt water for me and I want a halibut.  If you see me in my green hobie outback please show me where the halibut are.

Dudes, if you can wait till Sat, I'll be more than happy to show you the ropes of Hali fishing. Check out my hookup. If you guys still go out 2maro, especially out of Berkley, BE VERY CAREFUL when leaving and coming back from the Harbor. Charters and PB'ers will be hauling ass out and those west winds are no joke once it Picks up. Bottom bouncing/trolling a chrome dodger with a frozen anchovy 36" behind it is money out there. Good luck and please post a report. ricci

No need for downrigger.  8 oz is a good all around trolling weight when using with flasher.
