If we have a taco shack this year, might be good idea to have it located to continue with the flow of the other food tables. Last year seemed like two different parties
Either way, those fish tacos were awesome. ;0)

+1 on working on the food flow. Also, the location is awesome, fantasic view, but can we plan some wind breaks. Both the food and the people get a little chilled.

I just called and they told me again that we didn't need to reserve a site, just show up...

Last year it was no problem and Jack just let us all find space and set up...

I'll be trying to get close to that back right corner by the big tree and against the fence..if anybody gets there before friday and wants to save me a spot next to them over there I will do my best to stoke you out with uni and abalone.

Pretty sure I will get there Thursday. I'll grab the same spot as last year if that's the one you want and it's still available.

I would like to do the taco-shack again this year. I am going to try and simplify it a little and also try to increase the production speed. Although the taco-shack is somewhat of a work in progress, I think it is a worthy endeavor considering how much fresh fish we produce at these events. Anyone who wants to help out, feel free to chime in.

Outstanding!   :smt001  I don't feel that it should be moved - I thought it was great where you set it up last year, Jack.  To break up the main potluck area crowd was a good thing - we're talking a few hundred people, we need multiple areas to grub up.

I pitch in for sure! I will make a batch of fresh salsa for the occasion also. Anyone else feel like bringing a different taco sauce feel free. There were some excellent ones last year and would assume this year will have some too. We will need a get a list of people to planning to bring ingredients for the Shack! I will bring at least 100 tortilla along with fresh red onions, some cabbage with rice wine vinegar and some avocados.

Right-on Jimbo !!  Yes, I encourage anyone to bring a jug of homemade salsa with your name on it. I still have somebody's salsa containers from last year.
