If you want something not easily available online or not typically carried a the dealer or don't want to make the drive, how do you order from Hobie. Don't see a store on the Hobie website. Nor do I see order information in the Hobie catalog. Hobie is not answering my emails and seems like they discourage you from calling. The site keeps says go to their forums. I haven't found my answers there either. Am I missing something ?

Kirk - For online ordering try Austin Kayak.  CCK has special ordered parts for me and shipped it, sometimes for free.

In Al's thread about his broken crank I link a site I found that sells every part of the mirage drive separately.  Looked pretty cool.  What are you looking for?

Hey Mel
I do use Austin Kayak etc but they don't have everything.
Do I have to get bit to get the free shipping from CCK ?  :smt002
Guess the question would be why does Hobie have such a big catalog, but they don't facilitate online ordering

Hobie sells through their dealer network.  For small parts CCK charges real cheap shipping fees, alot cheaper than paying for gas and your time traveling.

you should be able to order any part through your local hobie dealer.  takes about a week to come into stock.

austin kayak can also special order any hobie (and ram) product, you just have to e-mail them with the part number(s), then they will put together a special order for you.  since it comes directly from manufacturer, it takes a little bit longer to ship. my last order of some hobie and ram parts ended up taking about 2 weeks.

I usually make my orders through sunrise mountain sports in livermore, they have never charged me for shipping cost, since its part of their normal hobie deliveries.  that's my local hobie dealer now anyways.

Still can't find (for sure) the correct part number for it!  I'll buy anyone lunch if he/she can find me the correct part number.

Page 50 is all the island parts.
You can go on hobie's website and request a catalogue with all the parts and part numbers in it. Then any dealer can get it for you. I think the summer 2013 catalogue is coming out soon with some cool new parts too.

I searched the catalog before but since my AI was the 2006 model and I know for a fact that they changed that part for the later model sail/mast.

If you go to the Hobie forums and PM mmiller I'm sure he can help. I'de take some pictures and be as descriptive as possible. He's the parts and accessories sales manager for Hobie.

Thank you for the suggestion.  I just PM him..

Dear Mr. Miller,
Please help me order the replacement part for my 2006 sail/mast. I searched the catalog but can't find the right part. Please see my post at NCKA for details and pictures of the part.
Thank you in advance,
Sonny
