Howdy,

This is an event being put on by a Fly Fishing club that helps wounded warriors.  They are doing all the logistics, food, details...  we have been invited, but it's on a small scale of our participation. They are going to have a trout plant, but I'm being told that boats spook the fish. I told them we would probably hit the open water anyway.

What we need is about 6 guides and another 6 kayaks. I might be able to get Delta Adventures out there to supply the extra kayaks. Keep ya posted.

All you would need to bring is your own yak and fishing gear, maybe extra yak, we'll see.

Still waiting on fees being waived but I would assume quagga and fishing permit would not be waived.

HOW is paying the $100 donation for our participation and that is all for now... I'll post more when I know more...

Kathy from Delta Adventures is going to bring about a half dozen yaks, so anyone participating as a guide will just need to bring their own yak and guide...

we could use a few more guides for this one, pretty easy gig,  Delta Adventures is going to bring some extra yaks, we have extra rods and fishing stuff,

no quagga inspection or fees, no food prep,  just show up with your yak and your fishing stuff and we'll take some vets out fishing...

I'll post details as we get closer but as it is, just say your with " Veterans Fly Fishing and HOW and that should get ya the free pass...  not to say there is any paper work, but you should not have to pay anything....

Kool Ben,  just what ever gear makes you who you are... I'll have the extra fishing poles, maybe if you have a special technique for the lake, bring that along, I'm bringing terminal tackle, power bait and worms...

 but if ya want to troll, bring a the tools for that to set someone up to work with ya...
