Favorite F.F. and VHF

O/k.  I bought a O/K Trident and am now outfitting it.   So, what is everyone's favorite F.F. and why do you like it.  Also, what is everyone's favorite hand held VHF.   Thanks, bruce

I have a Lowrance Elite 4 & an Elite 7.  LOVE both of them!  The broadband processing, quality gps, daylight viewable and the DSI on the 7 are second to none.  I have a West Marine brand older hh VHF 250.  Works well.  Love the Icom units as well.

I just picked up a new VHF. It's a standard horizon hx150. $94 shipped to my house. Floating and waterproof with 5 watts of power. I'm going to try it out this weekend

Standard Horizon makes some good radios as well.  Can't go wrong with one of theirs too!

I love my lowrance elite 4, and I have one of the west marine radios, you can't beat there exchange policies.
