Hobie Outback $1400 on CL (Not Mine)

I just saw this on Craigslist and thought I'd pass it along to a darkside enthusiast.

It was a hank Parker. The guy didn't know how old it was. Someone got ripped off!

What years did they make the Hank Parker editions? 

The CL ad was pulled before I had a look, but based on the other people's comments, wasn't this a brand new kayak?  I'd think $1400 isn't a horrible deal if it was in fact brand new but just a slightly older model.

The mirage drive was still packaged.  Pretty sure it was a new boat.  If not, it wasn't much older than a year or 2.

And I'm pretty sure the Outback is still marketed as the Hank Parker edition.

+1.  I could be wrong, but I don't think the "hank parker" is still marketed.  Mine is an '08 Hank Outback.  Whatever the case, the age of the kayak is irrelevant if it was in new condition.  What are they new now? $1900?  I would take a $500 savings if I was in the market now.
