What an awesome weekend we had at the Fisherman's Warehouse event. Thank you Eric and Verna for all of your hard work putting on such a great event. The food was amazing both Saturday night and the Sunday potluck. Big congrats Ashley on your new yak. So stoked for you still and have a big smile on my face while typing this. :smt003 Congrats to all the winners as well. Thanks again to our generous sponsors Fisherman's Warehouse, Ocean Kayak, Lowrance, and much more. See you all soon.

This was my first time on the Delta, AND my first Yakhopper event. I can say now that I will surely return next year and will bring my kids along now that I know this one is good for families. The event was top notch, and I thank Eric and his lovely wife(and all others involved) for their hard work and time. It was also the first event where I went home with a trophy and it's a great feeling. The fellowship of NCKA has increased my fishing knowledge and upped my game tremendously, and I feel very thankful to have this outlet.

Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

I had fun

+1

And, thanks Eric and family, sponsors, Dave and Teri(sp?), and all my Uke and campfire singing buddies!
Congrats to all who got out and fished, and kudos to all who placed well.
Ashley, it was great to see you score the Predator, I'm sure you will use it to win next year's Delta tourney. :smt002

After seeing how my daughter was loving catching some blue gills, I decided to let her have all the fun.

Hi guys and girls,
Didn't want you to think I forgot about you ;0)
After hitting that incredible dust storm on the way home, I had to stop for the wife to calm her nerves. Buy the time we got home, it was after 11pm and we decided to deal with the mess on Monday. Needless to say, that was a mistake. Everything had to be scrubbed and completely taken apart to rinse the dust out. After a full day of cleaning on Monday, I couldn't find my phone. Finally found it this morning in time to head to work, and now my computer is not wanting to play :0(
I promise to get the full results up as soon as I can, but don't want to do it from my phone due to issues with uploading pics.
In the mean time, thank you all for attending the Delta Madness, and please keep the photos comming

See Ya Soon,
Eric / Yakhopper

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan
