Looks like a great price. Wish it had a rudder. Might be good for someone looking for there first kayak. I would offer 500 without a rudder as I wouldn't want to fish my trident in the ocean without it.

Looks like a banana hanging there.

You really think a kayak without a rudder is useless in the ocean? A rudder is nice to have sometimes, but definitely not a necessity. I paddle a 16' boat in the ocean without rudder and have no issues. Most people need a rudder as a crutch for bad paddling style and or ability. That is just my opinion though.

I can't imagine what a Platina summer in a tin shed hanging like that would do to that boat.

It would make the shape match the color.   :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

I modified my post. I meant it for myself that particular boat and where I fish.  I do think when fishing in the wind and current a rudder is more than nice to have, but I'm sure my style isn't great.

Sorry if I came off bad Andy. Rudders are nice in certain instances. I have a new Tarpon on the way and it does have a rudder. It's a sponsored boat so I loaded it up for show purposes. My old boat has a rudder and my wife likes having it. That's the second reason for the new one having the rudder.

Wen I said that boat hanging looked like a banana I meant that because it looks bent.

The yak looks fairly straight in his second picture.

A little dirty, though!

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...
