Yuba River 03/11/2013

Took my Coosa and my fly rod out on the Yuba today. Hooked 2 and landed 1.

Bill, did you see any skwala's?  I've heard they are appearing.

Nice! Damnit I need to get out. This weather should get some hatches going, hopefully some skwalas over there or some march browns other places. Lower stani just dropped into perfect level for below dam this past weekend, gonna get sick and fish it tomorrow or Thurs.

A Skwala landed on my face as I was fighting that fish.  There were tons of midges and a few mayflies coming off.
