Shelter Cove Salmon Opener - 4/6/13

dang...that would suck if Shelter Cover is out for the opener...

That Stormsurf site is usually very reliable - it definitely doesn't look good for next Saturday.  We'll have our chances this season though.   

hmmmm ...... maybe affects my LA southern driving plan as well. ... still thinkin' bout it, though.

Yeah, it looks to be flat all the way up to Friday!  If this forecast holds I'll be waiting for my first salmon trolling of the year.

Regrettably, I'm going to pass on SC for now. Might even skip a salmon hunt altogether this weekend. Be safe out there, y'all.

I'm out. The swell forecast is too big for me. I'll be keeping an eye on the forecast and will be down to make the trip when it is calmer.

Yeah, this hookup is officially "up in the air" and basically not probable.  If by Friday it looks at all doable I'll post, and otherwise I'm out.

The water is supposed to be good out of Bodega and there have been reports of salmon being caught while charter boats were sand dab fishing.

hmmn...thats very interesting where do u go out of Doran? which side of the head do you go out on? what about the landing around the corner?
