I was contacted by Brenda of Timber Cove.  She has a new website, which is still under construction, and it will have a webcam.   Check it out.

I'm glad Brenda got a website, she's always been super cool!  But $25 for day use with self launch vessel?? Am I missing something? It was always $8 with the yak for a day, do you think the 25$ is for a non yak vessel?

$25 is a bit more than $8. I hope that is not the case.

Like 3 times couldn't be that big of an increase. Well I guess it may depend where their funds come from for the area. Ive never been there so you have to catch a lot of fish to make up the money.

The 25.00 fee is for pbs.  Kayak launch is still $8.00.  She is also patching holes in the road going down and she is evening things out by the fish cleaning station.  No worries, kayak launch is still 8.00.   :smt007

Brenda can be a sweet heart. I remember a damn seagull took our dinner. Brenda brought us down some fried fish. Any way 8 buck sounds cool. Looking forward to those two nighters  :smt007

Thanks for the update Raydon.  I love that place and $8.00 seems like a pretty fair deal considering the very small impact us yakkers have on the place.  The "Screws" always make sure all of the trash is properly disposed of, including the stuff left by less considerate users and I'm sure all the NCKA guys do the same.  I think Brenda considers NCKA guys almost family and she gets and deserves the same consideration from us.  A little kindness and consideration will go a long ways in keeping the fees reasonable, I'm sure.  I'm thinking maybe some of Mrs. Fish 'n Brew's baked goods should be left along with my $8.00 on future trips to the cove.
