the shed

Totally transformed from the crack shed it once was.
 I got a window that was salvaged from a 1930's boardwalk hotel that I put in over my main bench and the steps are from scrounged yellow cedar posts and salvaged fir boards.
I got a little buddy heater this winter so can actually work in comfort now.

Cool workshop Sean! I got a generic 'little buddy' type LP heater. They work great.

Looking forward to more cool toys from your cool shop.

Where's the interior studio shots?

It looks like a very comfortable workspace.

It also makes me miss the "Doon".

But I'll be back.......

Oh man Rich, the inside is rarely presentable.
When I was a kid my dad hung a sign on the workshop that read "A Creative mess is better than Tidy idleness" just because I have a tendency to wreak havoc on organization once I get a project underway

My shed is only 10x12 so I am constantly moving stuff to make usable workspace, and thinking "Now where did I put that drill? I JUST had it!" I did put in some shelves for my power tools & chainsaws so now they at least are organized. Paints and brushes are another story though....

Someday I'll have a barn, or at least an outdoor forge and anvil.
