FreshKATS 2013 Club Roster

Just for clarification--once I've paid to join FreshKats, are the tournaments free to enter? Or is there still an entry fee for each tourney? Thanks Jim!

After you paid for FreshKATS membership, each event is $10.  This covers the event permitting and prizes.

Sin Coast - I had been thinking the same thing, until Jim set me straight. The $15 is to join FreshKats in 2013, then there is an additional small fee to enter each tourney (like Jim said, haha).

FYI - each tourney's location/park may have it's own independent fees for parking, for boat launch, for fishing - so be prepared for that. I think Jim is going to try and include those details with each tourney description.

BTW, I am more than happy to pay these to participate! They are fun, and the potlucks are pretty dang good

  Jim - I understand the time and effort it takes to coordinate these kinds of things, and  I can't thank you enough for putting them all together!

Also.... with the discounts we can sometimes get as a group... you get to fish and camp cheaper than if you went by yourself.... And the potlucks.... wow.... Gonna need a jackson kayak to keep me afloat after this years events... Jim thanks for all your hard work and Henry thanks for letting dad split off a bit of attn for our fishing fun....

Can membership and tourney fees be for a family? Since I am hoping to get Logan into fishing more maybe the fees could be for a family since he most likely will not be really be a factor and neither will I having to deal to restrictive time on the water.

I'm gladly paying you what you need this weekend at Black Butte. And if you need any free help for setting anything up or anything at all at an event I'm by or will be attending, don't hesitate to ask.

This Black Butte event will be the cheapest fishing event I've ever competed in!

For parents who have paid, Kids under 10 years old be free for FreshKATS, in the tournaments Kids under 5 years old be free and over 5 its same as mom and pop ($10), so prizes are equitable for everyone

Guess I should sign up!  Although I have no clue if I can attend any events until the week of... due to Sara's ever changing work schedule.  But I HOPE to make as many as possible!

If Jim is unable to attend the Berry event we will have someone there (probably me or fishworks) taking club registration and tournament fees.

We will update the list as soon as we can.  If you have paid your fees, then you are good to go whether you are on the list or not.

As many of you know, part of what I do through FreshKATS is provide event insurance for the tournaments, and I do this by having a $15 dues fee for club members.  I have to pay for the event insurance on April 1 this year and my cost went up a bit, so I am asking folks that think they will be making it to the FreshKATS events this year to register for the club when they are able.  I will of course have the roster at all the events to keep track of who has paid the $15 dues for 2013, but I thought it might be nice to have a list here so you can check for yourself as well
