I had a good enough time a couple weeks ago. If I goto Melones it costs ??$10?? and reports say it's slowwwww ... so I save $10, 20 minutes, and *if* things go well I land tiny fish 

Besides, I hear there are monsters waiting to be caught at Amador 

Or, I could bag it and we could go sturgeon fishing?

i wish i could but i gotta work, just got back from vacay and also have a lot of things to do at the new house.  i'd run to tulloch, always a nice lake.  i was at amador a couple weeks back for one half decent sized fish and has heard its even worse since.  if i was fishing a pay lake i'd just go to pardee, fish taste better there and easier to catch as long as you stay within the buoys.

Pardee is slow as well, I got a skunk last Friday there.
