It's ON! Rollins lake after work 3-5-13 5:30pm till ? No wind or rain! let's go!

Saw trout hitting bankies and some nicer fish landed. 15' visibility!!! Barely green at all!!!  Minnows are not allowed at Rollins...... I'm going to get out there and I will Launch from the freeloader cove spot (free to launch) This is where I have caught some large perch and smallies. Join if you like... I will be leaving my shop in Auburn at 5pm and going strait to the lake only 10 min off I 80 to launch.  Rainbow imitations can bring large browns into the net. Water was in the 50's Sunday... Spotted bass might be there in 15 -25' so bring a variety of species baits... There is a possibility (though it is a bit early) of running into the legendary 18+" crappie that DO exist in Rollins ) Cat fish in large sizes do come up at dusk... Let me show you the lake. Will be doing this trip a lot this year as it is Close to my house.
