We have quite a few of them around here and I have seldom seen them miss a fish, but I have never seen one grab a salmon.  Killer!

Funniest thing I was fishing at Lake Nacimento a couple years ago. And a white bass fell from the sky. right in front of me. An Eagle dropped it to chase it's mate. Besides the fish they put on a great air show.  Whish I had pictures of that. but these are great.

BADAZZ!!  i have been outfished by them quite a few times. (back in my shore days of coarse)

side story: once upon a time, i lived very close to the SanPabloRes., and one day, a 2-3lb. LMBass dropped on the grass across the street. Looked up and saw an Osprey. It was about 2-3 miles away from the lake.

Great Video..It's a good thing Ospreys don't have PayPal or they would win AOTY easily.

psh, if i could fly and had talons like that i could catch fish too. i'd like to see an osprey pedal a hobie.
