 Caught my first steelhead near false river. Native 20 lb plus. Will post picture soon as I figure out how to do it.

I am going to go ahead and assume you were fishing the Smith... and like Eric said, a 20lber is a trophy.  Quit while your ahead.  My personal best is 18ish... I have no intentions of besting that in this lifetime.

OK I got help posting the pic. This is one of the biggest freshwater fish I have ever caught. The only freshwater fish I have caught bigger than this is sturgeon and that was from a boat. Can't imagine catching a sturgeon from a kayak but I'm willing to try.

man it sure looks like a salmon with that long anal fin comparing to a steelhead. Either way great catch! Only way to truly know is that salmon have black mouths and steelhead have white mouths.
