Nathan has been doing gymnastics for a long time.  Brutal sport, short competition season, year long training and the guys do not even peak until their twenties.  There are few scholarships, no pro money; these guys just love the sport.  Routines that won past Olympics are being performed by 16 year old boys.  But the Iron Cross is still one of the first rites of passage.  The cross is really hard.  They hold it for a minimum of 3 seconds.  Last weekend, Nathan finally put the cross in a competition routine.  Damn good one too.  Proud of you Nathan, congratulations, you worked hard for it.  :smt001

Now on to the maltese and inverted cross  :smt003
