My New 4.3

I picked up my new kayak from Ravensblack on Friday. I say new because this boat hardly has a scratch on it. Last year I demoed this kayak and I was stoked on the ride, but bummed that I couldn’t afford to buy it at the time. So when I saw Craig’s add I started the ball rolling with my wife and she totally went for it since I’ve been talking about this kayak for about a year now.

Part of the deal was that I got busy around the house this weekend and to get shit done in the garage so I wasn’t able to go out and fish this weekend. The good thing is I have a lake in my back yard so I took it out and paddled with my daughter for the first time. My little girl loves this kayak as much as I do.  I hope to hit the Port this weekend.

The only thing I changed out was the fish finder. It came with a Humminbird 728 but I prefer my 587 w/GPS. I’ll probably sell the 728 with my OK Big Game.
